Channels
A channel lets you talk to Timothy from a chat app or by email, with the same agents and memory. The app describes the tab as “Talk to Timothy from chat apps like Telegram, with the same agents and memory.”
The tab has two sections: “Your channels” and “Add a channel”. “Add a channel” offers “Telegram”, “Slack” and “Email”. Unknown senders get a pairing prompt and never reach a model until you approve them.
Each channel card shows the bot’s name, or “Not tested yet”, and a line with the answering agent and the number of pending and approved senders. It has these controls:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Switch | Turns the channel on or off. |
| “Test” | Tests the bot token, or the mailbox for an email channel. |
| “Delete” | Stops the bot and removes its pairings. Chat sessions it started stay in your history. |
Click the card’s name to open the channel’s page, with its fields, its “Pairings” panel and its token rotation.
The fields of each kind, pairing and the choice of agent are covered in Channels. The “Channels” switch in Features turns all channels on or off.
